Selected recordings from ‘Oxen Records at Soup’, July 14th and 15th, 2018 Nine live recordings from two nights of live performances at Tokyo’s club Ochiai Soup during a summer of unrelenting heat. The recordings were comprised of direct board and room recordings generously provided by Yasutoshi Yoshida’s -Government Alpha- recording device. Kenny Sanderson (Like Weeds/FACIALMESS) curated the two days of Oxen Records at Ochiai Soup, his long standing, continued support and promotion of modern Japanese Noise is an inspiration. Essentially this release is as much a tribute to his efforts as it is also a way to present a document of exceedingly talented contemporary Japanese Noise artists in a live setting.
